Firstly, I would like to thank y'all for helpful comments. I do appreciate
different points-of-view.

On my previous email, I didn't mention I already have a Cushcraft 40-2CD on a
120 feet tall tower driven by an Yaesu G2800.

The idea of building a 40m full size yagi antenna called my attention, so did
the W6NL style moxon. May my 40-2CD be converted into a W6NL moxon style one.
Any ideas? Comments?

6061-T6 aluminum cannot be found in Brazil. If I choose to build either the
moxon on the full sized yagi, I will have to buy that kind of aluminum from an
American warehouse. Any that has good prices? Import tax and transport into
Brazil will add another 70% on the top of everything.

Front-to-back is quite important to me. There are several Argentinean stations
running high power. They all have very good antennas.

Narrow pattern is a wish but I have understood it comes with more elements
which leads to more money and weight.

So, once again, any comments or ideas? I'm all ears!

73,

Luciano PT9KK
