Eric,
Look in latest issue of QST, nice article on 40 meter rotatable dipole 
construction, total length is 32 feet with 18 feet of wire hanging from ends. 
Looks good, I'm gathering parts to try it out myself as my tower it close to 
neighbors yard and don't want my antennas hanging over.
