There were two versions of the control box for the Yaesu G-2800. Apparently the
early version used the 6 pin Jones type while the later version used the Molex
style.
I recently replaced the original Yaesu control box for a client with a Green
Heron unit. His original control box had the Jones style plug/socket.

I have owned four Yaesu G-2800 rotators and they all had Molex type
connectors not Jones. I purchased extra connectors and pins from Yaesu.
They were expensive but fit perfectly.

I have a G-2800 rotator that I am pulling out of the closet to use and I
cannot find a source for the Jones type connector that is on the rotator
controller box (NOT the rotator end).
The connector has two rows of 3 horizontal pins with one of them
keyed/oriented 90 deg from the others. I have looked on Mouser/DigiKey and
while the have them with 6 pins in two rows, I cant find one with the one
pin keyed/polarized from the others?
Anyone have a source for them?
