That would work pretty well. But you're talking about putting up 16 elements (4x4).. that might not be the best use of your elements.. A 2x8 array might work better.


I don't have 100 meters to play with and quite honestly question whether
that would even work.

are you thinking about having an array of arrays? with, e.g. two 4square
arrays 100 meters apart?



You will get the same 4 directions, with more gain. You also have the
potential to get other directions.

Another thing you might consider is a hex or 8 array..
