Hi Rick,


Check out W9XT site, 'Make hardline coax connectors' using PL259. I would think 
you could adapt it for N-connectors easily enough. I've got a large reel of 
Comscope 1/2" hardline, aluminum outside and copper coated steel center lead 
with Teflon disk spacers. I'm about to try W9XT's approach to this problem. The 
big problem is really the center conductor being too big for the PL-259 in my 
case. Going to be some fancy dermal work or hacksaw or something.
