Thank you....  I would only be using the big Trilogy stuff for main runs of hardline on the tower or other places appropriate to the hardline and larger bending radius.

I've never minded paying for the right tools for the job.  I always use the spec'd tool for whatever cable stock and/or connector I am employing.  I will likely "stick with" my current chose cable stock/connectors for jumpers, too  (also copper).

I appreciate the response, and thank you again!

Clay: I have used Trilogy  (Aluminium) commercially for years. Mechanically, can't be beat. Water migration does not happen, and it is warranted against that. Connectors attach quite solidly -- with the reduced copper in copper cables, the Commscope and RFS connectors do not attach to their cables as well as Trilogy. Surplus connectors are rare, however. I have always used Trilogy tools to install connectors, and it was effortless. Without the tools could be a challenge. I stick with copper for jumpers, a personal preference. The Trilogy cables are stiffer that the copper cables. I would be concerned if you need to snake it through underground conduit with bends. And, yes-- it is absolutely American made. Good Luck. --Mike, WV2ZOW

I've not yet gone that far down the road.  For folks who are used to
scrounging reel ends at Hanfests, I am sure it will be considered
    expensive.  <wink>

Cost is why I am looking at buying a reel and splitting it with
    another/other users...

PS - To confirm, it IS American made in Pearl, MS.
