Tough to beat a use in the conditions like a race car might face I'd
imagine. Which led me to think to see if Del City (whom I've bought some
odd trailer connectors from) might carry them. Sure enough -

I've no interest in them other than that I bought some specialized
trailer connectors from them. Found them to be fair priced and fast re
delivery. Also very responsive to questions I posed on trailer
connectors ( was using them for purposes other than a trailer and needed
something that would work in my salt air environment).

Used them in a race car I built one time for all the Autronics compute
signal and power wires... Worled great, and loads better than OE
automotive connectors. You DO need to pay particular attention to
terminating and putting seals in properly.
And true to my OCD self, I flooded the connector cavities with
non-drying, water-excluding gel right before assembly. Never had a
failure.

Wonder if anyone has any experience using these:

Seems like they could have some application to all the non-RF type
connections made by we hams outdoors, particularly in open conditions.
