I recently tried the firmware update from the Rigexpert website and ended
up with a disaster.
The firmware update failed and now when I turn the unit on, the screen is
nothing but hex trash.
I tried the Rigexpert website and they told me to contact my national
reseller. I contacted DX Engineering, where I purchased the unit. They
checked into it and said my only hope was to send it back to the Ukraine
and that would probably cost as much as a new unit :(
Does anyone have experience recovering from such an issue or suggestions?
