| farm!  We used to have have two houses on different electric feeds that 
had common galvanized pipe plumbing.  This was very problematical with 
respect to the use of cold water pipes as electrical grounds.
 
I had an unusual situation of voltage between water coming out of the 
faucets, and ground. 
Turns out the electrical grounds/neutrals were bad (since installation 
in 1979), and the return paths for two 120V 100A feeds was up the water 
in a PVC pipe back into the well.
