Unfortunately the 3M Temflex is hard to come by here in Illinois but Scotch 2228 Moisture Sealing Tape is carried by Lowes and Home Depot here.  You have to stretch the tape as you apply it.  Its also 65 mil thick.  3m Temflex is only 30 mil thick

Did anyone mention 3M Temflex 2155 Rubber Splicing Tape?  $4 for a 22' roll at Home Depot or Lowes.  Here's an application note from DX Engineeering:

I disagree respectfully. The 'Tommy Tape" or "Rescue Tape" is fine but does not hold up to UV. But even so, the method that Steve suggested below works fine. A layer of tape, then the coax seal, the another layer of 88 or even 33. When in doubt also use liquid electrical tape over all. Your results may vary depending on one's skill I suppose, but a connection like this could be
immersed in water.  -Mike

Used to pick it up at HRO.  I put a layer of Scotch #88 first, then the
Coax Seal, then another layer of #88.  If you put the seal on the connector
directly, you'll never get it off!
