With thanks to K1TR, who made the RF package, and to W6OAL, who made the stacked Mini Wheels and it housing, the WA2UMX beacon project now has on the air a beacon on 1296.3 MHz at FN23XC. The power level is about 40 watts ERP. The 23cm beacon is keyed by the same keyer as the 144.29 MHz and 222.050MHz beacons, which sends "DE WA2UMX/B FN23XC" Reports of hearing the beacon would be appreciated.
