Well everyone it sure look promising the first evening of the contest. So much for good propagation during the event. There will be another 1987 one of these days. I wanted to say thanks to all the CW (The Original Digital Mode) operators out on the East and West Coasts. It sure was nice to run down between 50.085-50.105 and work you all on the first call with low power and a simple yagi. Easy pickings for new multipliers (plus outright new grids) was such little effort. Keep it up, look forward to working you all again during the CQ VHF Contest. 73's Art Jackson KA5DWI |
