Oh yeah, while I have your attention is there a 432 or 435 simplex fm freq
that is used for
contesting? I have a new duo band fm antenna but won't have anything else
for the sept.contest.

Again, this goes back to my comments last week about we really don't know
where to "FISH" for FM contacts during a contest. 433-435 MHz is for FM
simplex on the 70cm band as is 445-447 MHz. 446.000 MHz is the 70 cm call
freq and there is as far as I can see no provision in the rules to preclude
anyone from using this freq. I was somewhat surprised that no one had any
comments about my suggestion as to us using 145.500 - 145.800 for 2 meter FM
contesting. I like the idea but would love to hear other ideas / input.
