Since we've brought up the Sprints, here's how the log submissions
have been for the past seven years:
Jan VHF Jun VHF Sep VHF ETDXA 6M ETDXA 2M
2004 833 765 558 52 53
2003 798 817 520 60 59
2002 802 672 535 27 ??
2001 790 677 551 54 72
2000 820 723 583 43 97
1999 966 680 606 88 174
1998 1075 862 617 73 129
The evidence suggests that (a) log submissions in the spring sprints
have been gradually declining just like every other VHF+ contest,
and (b) the sprints all have at least an order of magnitude fewer
entrants than the "big three" VHF+ contests.
