Howdy All,

Current plans for Southern California, DM12rr, 4900' ASL ....

All Bands, 6 Meters Thru 10 GHZ, will also be on FM for the bottom six bands
...

Will be aimed North at the top of the hour, East at the bottom half (if 6
Meters is open, all bets are off ... :-)

Have not decided on power category yet, might make this a low power contest
to challenge a record set last year for the section ... capabilities as
currently available follow:

6 Meters - 400W, 5 or 7 Element M2
2 Meters - 400W, one or two Cushcraft 13B2's
1.25 Meters - 300W, M2 220-5WL
75cm - 300W, M2 432-11WL
33cm - 300W, Directive Systems 12' Looper
23cm - 120W, Directive Systems 12' Looper
13cm - 60W, Directive Systems 12' Looper
3456 - 40W, Directive Systems 12' Looper
5760 - 15W TWT, 3' Dish
10GHZ - 15W TWT, 3' Dish

Best bets for lower band frequencies during the contest are 50.135, 50.160,
144.210, 144.230, 432.120 ... from there, we can work up through other
bands.

Will also have vertical, omni polarization on the bottom six bands for low
power locals.

>From this location, little or no prop enhancement yields paths 500 + Miles
to the north, and 300 + miles East in to Arizona .. any Tropo or Es makes
life much more interesting ..

Interested in any sked's or working out details with folks that need DM12
for any of these bands in advance -

'73 and good hunting !

KG6IYN
