Other than treelimbs and the occasional improperly
installed CATV drop wire, the long boom yagis (including
FULL SIZE 6 meter 4 element Yagi!)  sure work well!
 Generally can work stations 100-200 miles away with no
special propagation, on all the bands thru 1296.
Have not had the 23dBi blowtorches on the rig long enough
to see how well they do unless on a mountain, but, have
completed "refractive" QSO's with locals by using our local
mountain ranges.  Its nice not having to drive right up to
someone's front door to work 'em...
