The AM6154 and AM6155?great amps; their biggest drawback is the fan which
sounds like a 747 taking off.

You do need external relays. The mod is mainly adding a few parts and removing
others

Dana,
Is the Mod easily done on 222 or is it deep,
Does it have a internal relay or do I need to use a external relay for T/R

Either spend big dollars and get a TE Systems amp or look for a
AM-6155/4. I paid about $300 for my 6155. 3W in yields about 325W
out and it's not breaking a sweat. Probably more power than you were
looking for but why drop $400 for 130W?
