Hi Les,

If you just ordered your DEMI 222 transverter, you definitely will NOT have it
for August UHF or September VHF, and most likely not even for the January 2009
VHF contest. Iv'e had mine on order since the second week of February, and
still no confirmation as to when I "might" see it. Don't bother leaving Steve a
voice mail, he doesen't answer them.

Sorry for venting, but my experience with DEMI has been less than satisfactory.
My only response back from DEMI was via email in June, stated I could see it
around the middle of July. It's now closer to the end of July, no confirmation
of product shiped, no product delivered yet.

Les, I hope you find something used. If you can latch onto a FT-736R with a 222
module, you will be very happy. In hind-site, I should have gone that route.

73, Gene N9TF
