Bravo!  I approve, and will be happy to join such an effort to promote 
openness in contesting.

One caution that may not occur immediately to everyone: if public 
posting of logs is to be done independently of the contest sponsor, it 
is important that it not happen until after the official deadline for 
submitting logs has passed.  The reason should be obvious: having 
potential access to other logs before submitting your own could 
compromise its integrity.

Your log is supposed to reflect who you worked and what you logged, 
during the contest.  Perhaps it's OK to proofread your log to catch 
typos; some purists argue that it's not, and they prefer to email their 
logs within minutes after a contest's end.  But nobody should argue that 
it's OK to look at someone else's log before you submit your own.
