Guys,

How about using the Stew Perry 160m contest as a model for distance based
scoring?  Granted, its only single band, but certainly a lot of good things
there.  If it can be done on 160m, why not on 6m or any other VHF band for
that matter?  

I know Frank mentioned that it would be great for the ARRL to take the lead,
but I honestly think that you have to establish the contest first before
they will pick it up. 

Why can't we get a group together and make this happen? There are enough
bright and talented organizers here to bring this about.

I'm all for it.
