Activity seemed good around WI/ILL. Since the band didn't
open up, I consider 43 Q's to be real good for a sprint. I now have
7 els (M2 JHV) up 100'.
Best DX was K0SIX in EN35, KA0PQW in EN33, K9AKS
and K2DRH in EN41, WZ8D in EM89 and WB8TGY in EN72.
Very encouraging to hear so many newer locals on. The weekly
2 meter nets I run, plus the encouragement I give toward newcomers
is definitely paying off. It takes some time and effort, but it's worth
it.
