They are the DC power cables from the batteries in a job box in the bed of
the truck. +12, +24 and gnd. All done with #2 copper welding cables. The 12
volt battery is paralleled with the main truck battery, so it is maintained
by the alternator at close to 14 volts. Helps the amps develop maximum
output rather than struggling at about 11.5 volts if they were not on
charge. They enter through the window plate via 1/4" brass bolts, insulated
from the aluminum plate with plastic and rubber washers. A short at that
point would not be pretty ;o))
