By Eliminating the Rover category at ANY capacity or contest will be nothing
short of detrimental. If you think it's hard to make contacts and new ones at
that, try taking rovers out of the mix. These people are dedicated to using
THEY'RE GAS, Equipment, putting up with harsh weather, and working in low light
at times just to make contact with what seems (it may be different where you
are) to be fixed stations a majority of the time.
I can however agree with you that the rover scoring system and rules need a
better look and an intelligent as well as fair solution. The current system as
many others have pointed out is questionable at best.
