Finally got that new tower christened minutes before the start of the test
with a single 5 element LVA - fixed SW @ 80' with 40 watts of power.
Worked 11 grids and 23 Qs
Although the antenna was pointed into an adjacent hill, it proved out the
site path to Pack Rat land.
Plan on getting more hardware in the air as the summer progresses.
Good to hear some friendly signals as well as making a few new
acquaintances.
Sorry to those stations NE of me as you were working off the back of the
antenna.
