Here's what Arliss W7XU posted on another group. I was all wrapped up in
the 6m Es opening at the time and never thought to check 2m for Es.
:-)

Wow, that was exciting!

I set out to just give out a few points during the contest, but I
got caught up in the good conditions at times. I ended up with
562 QSOs on 6, with 153 grids, and 50 QSOs on 2, with 24 grids,
for a score of 108,324.

The highlights were my 45 mile bicycle ride Sunday morning, then
a great opening on 6 to New England Sunday evening. I had to go
to 50.250 to find a clear spot, but then I was able to work 202
stations on 6 between 0000 and 0108 UTC.

At 0109 UTC this evening I heard some noise on 2, and caught
N2RHL, FN02 on 2m Es. Stations were in and out on 2m from then
until 0232. I was able to work 41 stations on 2m Es, in 16 New
England grids.

I wonder who else got in on the 2m Es opening?
