I've used RoverLog for years. It works great in the rover. It is being used
in other shacks as their network log as well. Check it out!

And for us Linux users it will run under WINE.  I have even been able to
attach to a multi-op network using a MS machine as host with my dell netbook
running Fedora just fine.
