Subject: [VHFcontesting] 2m and 6m Antenna Configuration

Hey Everyone,

From years gone past, I have two F9FT Tonna for 2m. Unfortunately
the plastic insulator for the driven element has gone away, but I have
come up with a fix. So I was thinking that I would put them in a
horizontal (side by side) array.

Any suggestions as to the right spacing between each of the 2m
antennas?

I also have a 5 element 6m 18' boom homebrew courtesy of K4ZGB.

I was thinking that I might place the 2m array above the 6m antenna.

What would be reasonable spacing between the 2m and 6m
antennas?

All of this will go on a small tower (42'). I have about 10 to 11' of mast
above the tower to work with.

Also, I wonder if it would be possible to do a vertical stack of the 2m
antennas and place the 6m antenna in the middle between them?

Anybody got any thoughts?

BTW if there is another or two F9FT 2M Tonnas out there within a 125
miles of Dothan Alabama, let me know the condition and your price.
Honestly this is a low budget entry into the VHF world. hi

Thanks!
