For me, this was the first contest in years that I have been able to dedicate
any real time to having semi retired last August.
I have handed out points through the years here and there, but to me the bands
really seem DEAD!

Maybe it is the area I reside in (southwest Ohio), but when I was much more
into VHF 20 years ago, I recall the bands being much more active even if it was
locals calling CQ, etc.

For roughly 6 hours total operating time, I had less than 30 contacts for 2m
and 6m combined.
1 single local contact on 432, but with only 25 watts and no rotor I did not
expect miracles.

My longest QSOs were a VE3 in Ontario and K3 in PA. I heard New York, but could
not get their attention with 150 watts into my 13B2.
300 watts into my A50-5 on 6 was not a barn burner either.
