I had a lot of fun fixing things after spending weeks in preparation. I'm always changing things except my mediocre score. Lost 432 mm preamp, 2ghz LMR600 severely pinched around rotor shutting down sequencer power , 2ghz IF select relay had a short and Jetstream 45amp supply died. After 2 tower climbs at 8am on Sunday and was it cold, I got that fixed and all others fixed with a few more
hours of work. I guess I failed PREP 101.
I did enjoy getting on FT8 for the first time. I do not think I worked anyone on that mode I couldn't work on CW but sure
is a lot easier finding them and rarely having to rotate the beam.
I love 10ghz and happy with just 4 contacts which I must say take awhile to confirm. AF1T where were you?
The beacons now back on in FN-31nl and FN-31tt..
10ghz and up this weekend for more fun.
Somewhere it says this if fun...
