Hello to all interested in FFMA and grids on 6,

I announced a grid trip to DN03 last week.
As is common in life, plans change.

After a conversation with K5QE and a couple of other 'Grid Jedi's' I've
modified my plans.

The plan now is as follows,

DN02 June 14th-15th
DN03 June 15th-16th
DN04 June 16th-17th

I will not be taking the 'trailertenna' and I've settled on a 5el yagi put
onto a receiver hitch mounted mast, telescoping to about 17ft when stopped
and operating.

Will have still have a KW on 6 and possibly 200w/12el on 2m for morning
scatter.

I've tested most of the gear and I'm bringing two of everything except the
KW diesel power plant. (two is one, one is none). Back up amp on 6m is a
small 150w brick.

Ditching the 'trailertenna' will allow me A LOT more time to operate and
way less time setting up/tearing down.

I plan on focusing on FT8 and MSK144. I'll have a mic and key of course but
I prefer the digital stuff. (this is not an invite to 'cuss and discuss'
the merits of one over the other. It's just my preference. That's all).

If you need one of these three rare-ish grids and you don't want to run
digital, please send email and we can discuss getting your contacts via CW
or phone.

It also looks like I will be using LoTW to confirm contacts.

Thank you for the bandwidth and here's hoping we all have a fruitful Es
season!
