[VHFcontesting] Cleaning waveguide bits

Hi all,

I have a circulator/isolator and an SMA transition that I picked up from
somewhere. It looks like at some point some sort of bug was inside, maybe
ants or wasps. There was a lot of dirt caked inside. I brushed out most of
it, but there's still some in there. Is this fixable? I was thinking of
maybe using one of those ultrasonic cleaners, but I'm unsure if that would
damage the parts. Perhaps filled with isopropyl alcohol instead of water? I
guess maybe ye olde toothbrush could work as well.
