I've been using the Honda EU2000i for the last several years on FD. It is
RF noise free even down on 160m; noise doesn't appear until down into the
AM BC Band. It only used approx 2 gallons of fuel for this year's 4A FD
operation. Yes, it's pricey compared to other inverter type generators.
And it is easy to carry around.

Several years ago QST ran an article with video comparing inverter
generators. Part of the video was how to filter out the RFI from the
generator. Without mentioning the brand, it showed one unit with really
nasty RFI and an appropriate filter which didn't really help too much. The
Honda does not require any such filtering.
