Hi Ron,
Thanks for providing those activity reports for 222 Activity Night. I
was on and worked the same bunch with a few differences. I missed WA2LTM
(again) but I did snag WW1Z FN42, W1GHZ FN34, and WB2VVV/FN43 up in
Waterville Valley. When things slowed down I aimed at the Moon and
snagged PJ4MM in Bonaire. Martin was pretty loud and had a banner night
working two new stations plus one or two repeats. N0AKC worked a number
of stations and is pleased that his antenna is working well again. I
worked Charlie N0AKC along with K3SK in FM07, W4ZST in EM84, K9MRI in
EN70, and N1AV in AZ and VE6TA in AB. Faraday Rotation prevented
contacts with WQ5S and W5EME. Incidentally, WQ5S almost completed with
PJ4MM. That will be a fantastic QSO when they get it done. PJ4MM has two
yagis, while WQ5S has a single 5 wl yagi on the horizon only. My sked
with WA3EOQ in FM09 was successful. Howard was quite weak, but we worked
pretty easily. W8ZN was 559 here on CW from FM09. I ended up with 28
stations worked and it was a fun night with snow falling. The ride home
was exciting.
