SUCESS AT LAST !!!!!!!!!

Doug ... we found the problem ...
When we recorded using the mike input to the Sound Blaster board it was in a
different format than
when we used the Windows 98 recorder in ........START/ PROGRAMS/
ACCESSORIES/ ENTERTAINMENT/ SOUND RECORDER..
>From the sound recorder window click on FILE ... then PROPERIES ...
This will show you the DETAILS of the sound format .....
When we used the mike into the sound board it was .... PCM
11,025hz 16 bit mono
but when we used the sound recorder in Windows 98 ..it was in PCM 22,050 8
bit mono
That is why one would not play after the other ... that is .. " W2ABC 59 05
"
which would be ...... %C<msg10.wav> in SSB memory ....
In DETAILS in Properties you can Convert all the audio files to 22,050 hz 8
bit mono ...
then everything works together .... and will sound out the call from the
Entry window followed
by the exchange from the appropriate F key ......
Nothing is ever simple .... Murphy is always at work ...
Now we can try CQ WW SSB next week just like we would run CW ..
All from memories ...unless Murphy strikes again ....
