This thread baffles me.
What difference does it make what number the first QSO has? Especially in
the ARRL DX contest, where the sequence number isn't part of the exchange!
Even if the contest *had* required a serial number, it still wouldn't
matter what the numbers were or where they started, just as long as they
were logged exactly like they were sent.
What am I missing that is such a dire problem?
(This from the same guy who complained very loudly about the duplicate
serial number problems for SO2R ops, a seemingly more legitimate concern --
thanks to Wayne for fixing that one in the latest version!)
