You can go to menu Contest/Exchange Format Setup..., Click No so as not to
clear out the existing setup.  Then click on RST and you should see a check
mark in the Prompt field.  Uncheck that box, click Save and then OK and the
RST field will disappear.  Now if someone sends you 487 as an RST you will
have to edit the entry.

If the focus is the Rttyrite window Alt-K brings up the typeahead buffer,
but if the focus is the Writelog main window (usually the case) Alt-K brings
up the transmit buffer (which goes directly to transmit).
