Hi Ron,
I'm replying to the reflector, cuz I think it may interest many.

I guess it depends how you define small suburban lot. DO you have
room for a tower?

I'm not on a small lot, but I only have one tower (75 ft of Rohn 45).
One that one tower is a 2 el 40 (85 ft), 3 TH7s (25, 40 and 76 ft),
slopers for 80 and an inv vee for 160.

For SO2R use, I use the top two TH7s as a stack for one radio and
the low TH7 for radio 2. Because of the proximity of the antennas, I
have a set of bandpass filters and stubs. all switched automatically
using Top Ten Devices boxes.

Even with a 40-50 ft tower, you can put 2 tribanders, one for each
radio. Or, you can put up a multi-band vertical in the corner of the
yard for the other radio (I tried that first, but was very disappointed
with performance, so put up the very low TH7, which was 5+ S-
units better than the vertical on 20-10).

Hope this helps... If you want any more specifics, let me know.
