Hi , I have a Kenwood TS850 that I have a problem getting the port setup
correct.When I use a simple rig interface that uses a zener diode and a
couple of resisters and requires no power from the serial port all is
fine .When I use the fancier JBI kit that requires the RTS line to be
high to supply power to the interface the rig control is very erratic .I
have turned off the box on the port setup screen that says All mode PTT
on cw port RTS, which if I read the manual correctly should toggle the
RTS and DTS lines high .What am I missing ? Also has anyone used the
newer JBI interface with the cw keying from the same port as the rig
