I hope your socket is not inactive like mine. There are some things to 
think about, including how PTT kills front mike and such. Read the manual 
carefully and then you may have to do as I did,  such as useBlaster through 
the mike in front. My input on back of my TS870 is not connected, factory 
error I guess, and I am not going to send it in and pay a fortune to get it 
fixed.
