I've never had this happen. Could RF be getting into your keyboard? Try some
big ferrite beads on the cord or try another keyboard.

WL displays that message when it doesn't hear back from the rig. However,
commands sent by WL still go to the rig, which is why packet spots still
change the frequency. The COM port IRQ (interrupt) is probably messed up. Is
this a motherboard COM port or an add-on? Is it a USB port? What COM port
number is it? Have you checked for IRQ conflicts with other devices? Again,
RF could be getting into the computer. Try ferrite beads on the COM cable
between the rig and PC (for that matter, put 'em on all the cables.)

K1TTT, which is the internet node I connect to when I run assisted (SSB
only), lets you do a SH/FDX command. This will display the past packet spots
in the right format so the band map can be repopulated.

Enjoyed? Not the word I would use for Saturday, but certainly applies to
Sunday!

Not sure what you mean by this. My cursor doesn't leave the entry window
when I use ALT-W or F11 (clear in CT-mode.)
