If there is no current serial number and need to send a serial
number, then send previously sent one.
If WriteLog was setup up for CW on an LPT port using Windows
9X, and then was upgraded to Windows NT, 2000, or XP, WriteLog
no longer crashes on startup.
If an attached object gets corrupted, read the rest of the log
anyway and report the problem (rather than failing to read any
of the log.)
Default settings of all SS fields changed to no-auto-tab.
