CompUSA has a $10 soundcard at my local store - probably available at any 
store in the entire chain.

Notice in Sunday's local newspaper - sale ends Wednesday.

PCI 32 bit sound card ALS4000 chip, stereo sound. Full duplex Sound Blaster 
compatible.

I already had one in a PC, so I knew they work OK. Got spares now.
