ABSOLUTELY. I have spent countless minutes trying to figure out how to
enable a simple feature that should have had a default command in the file
ready for me to edit! I think many of the common ones to be there, several
versions ago, and some got chopped out.

Someday I would like to hear a logical explanation of why I should have to
go into that file to manually set up an automatic file save - duh!

I have this going now. I have CT compatibility setup and whatever is
required in the buffers and F-key redirection (don't remember) to allow my
"insert" to send the exchange, and the big "+" key at the right side to
send QSL, QRS, and log functions. My "Enter" key silently logs him after
"insert" when I am S&P. It is essentially compatible with how it is usually
done in CT (I think). I set this up so I could practice for CW contests
with PED and not have to changeover anything in WL for RTTY or CW
contesting. When in S&P, I use the insert+enter, in RUN I use the insert+"+".

Nice, isn't it? Those few dollars I spend on WL continue to be the best I
ever spend on the station. I have started trying to stay a version or two
behind, though, just in case something unexpected breaks in the latest
greatest version.
