I'm using Window 98 SE with a 1Ghz PIII and had a terrible time with coppy
CW.  Using Com 1 for the Rig (FT-1000MP),  and using the DTR line for CW on
the same port.  It was so bad at time I had to shut down and re-boot.  It
would straighten out for a short time and then sound very ragged again.

I second the motion on a macro for "turn antennae to azimuth".
