Am in the process of building an interface to allow Writelog to work between
my PC and my FT1000D.
I see some interface designs using a separate line from the DB25F plug to
the CW key jack of the radio.
Yet the Yaesu interface shown in February 1993 QST (p.39) has no such line.
Can anyone kindly tell me more?
I am aware that interfaces can be bought at reasonable prices, but want to
build one so as to learn a bit about digital electronics.
