Thanks Kim & others, this is good information. I downloaded the operator's
manual but could not see where it ever said anything about being able
to use TxD for FSK. It only showed RTS and DTR options. However,
I received an E-mail from a Rigblaster Plus owner who just got his
to work by moving a jumper to TxD. This is not shown in the manual
that is available on their website.
This is good news. I was afraid the TxD option was not available.
Problem was I didn't know how to explain to those asking how to set the
jumpers for TxD. Apparently the pins all the way to the right are the
ones to use for TxD (thanks W1RSD).
The Rigblaster Plus looks nice a nice box. I hope to include a special
page for using the Rigblaster with MMTTY in "Getting Started on RTTY".
Still gathering information but what I've learned tonight here has been
valuable.
Thanks for the replies and hopefully this helps answer Steve original
question. The RigBlaster provides a convenient way to interface computer
to radio and saves time in getting hooked up. Although I understand the
documentation could be a little better.
