Enzo, take a look at http://www.w5bbr.com/pttfsk.html and read the MMTTY
(free) HELP file about FSK and AFSK. Think about whether you can use CIV
rig control for PTT, VOX, or whether you will need a PTT line from computer
RTS to your rig's PTT input. There are dozens of possible ways to wire from
computer to rig. What you choose will depend on your hardware, software,
and what mode(s) you want to operate.

I am familiar with the inputs on the 1000MP series and will help more if
needed after you are a little more specific with your questions, OK? I
recommend making a 3-wire cable with ground, PTT, and FSK signals from the
com port to the RTTY connector of the MP, using a 2N2222 or 2N3904
transistor switch on the PTT and FSK lines, but there are lots of other ways
to do it.

The audio input on the PACKET connector of the MP is -not- in the VOX
circuit, so don't think you can use VOX and that connector. However, the
PHONE PATCH input on the back -is- in the VOX circuit, so that will work,
but I don't recommend doing it that way if you don't have to.

Obviously you need audio from the rig into the sound card - the MP has at
least three sources for this - the RTTY connector, the PACKET connector, and
a dedicated fixed audio out jack on the back. Note also that the PTT line
of the RTTY and PACKET connectors are in parallel. GL - 73, John (WA9ALS)

Hi group.
As suggested by Mike W0YR (thanks!) i wish inform you that i'm trying to use
Logger 32 bit for RTTY activity. Can i use FSK or AFSK via rear connectors
on my rig (Yaesu FT1000MP-MK5) and sound card on PC? It is necessary a
interface? What? My more relevant problem is the PTT command... Please help
me!!!
Thanks in advance.
