Thanks Phil for you tip. It works very well but it looks like it would fill up your drive during a contest. And don't forget to close the file after the contest.

WL has a very nice recording feature. It will even play back the RTTY in a viewer. It indexes the file by callsign and date/time so you can go back to any qso very easy.

Again thanks Phil and cu in the contest.

Hi all,

Bernd DC3HB asked whether it was possible to record all the screen text in
the Rttyrite window.

As far as I can see, that is NOT possible with Rttyrite, but it IS possible
if you use MMTTY with Writelog.
To set this up, you have to start the version of MMTTY that Writelog uses,
(you can't get at the menu for it from within Writelog).
Click File, then click "Log Rx file (L)" - (the L is underscored).

Now, you will have all screen text saved to a file.
The file is of the format 040820.txt where the 040820 is the date in YYMMDD
format, and is saved in the MMTTY folder.

Now, when you run Writelog, that feature is enabled, and you will end up
with a file you can view after the contest.
This is very useful when you start checking your log, and you see a call
that doesn't make sense!

Once you start WL, the file will keep building until you close WL.
The resulting file for a full 48 hour contest is generally less than 1MB.

I hope that helps.
