[WriteLog] Message Audio adjust

With regard to DVK operation and the Writelog Sound Mixer Level Control.
I cannot seem to get the ability to adjust my Message Play Level.  The
Active button is always greyed out.  Messages work, I'd just like to
adjust the level.
Any tips?
