Wirh XP PRO and WL10.52F, UserPort installed exactly as the (real) 
instructions said it should. After getting WL to work, I did the usual save 
configuration, etc.

Upon rebooting the machine everything STILL worked. It has continued to 
work flawlessly over many reboots, etc, without any reinstall or 
maintenance of any kind.

I am amazed that guys are having trouble with it.
